    Amazing lights. Fully powered via sunlight and the batteries hold a charge. Motion is easily detected and the light is bright. The only thing more amazing than the product is the customer service. I had some lights that stopped working within the warranty period and they immediately sent me replacements. Highly recommend.

      I've used these for years. They will last the best under some cover from elemets..weather storms. In rain mine have only lasted a year. Some covered by roof lines two to three years. The red blinking light is a great feature. These are pretty sensitive and bright. They look like cameras which some people may think are real from a distance.

      Works great till it doesn't.
      I've had five or six of these and there are a couple design flaws that have convinced me to seek other brands.
      One just quit working out of the blue only a few months old.
      Two have been rendered useless by the poor design of the mount. The ball receiver that allows aiming of the light simply cracks into pieces, usually with no provocation.
      One mounted on the house is still going strong after two years... So maybe that's the answer. Set it up and don't touch it.
      The last remaining one just broke its mount a couple days ago and so now it's propped against the front door steps but its days are obviously numbered since it's so too heavy it won't stay on place.
      All suffer from the pointy stake that goes in the ground literally disappearing as soon as you plant it, so moving a stake leaves you with just the tube part that doesn't really work very well. I literally dug up a big hole with a shovel and the stake never turned up! It needs to be made a bit differently.

      My first purchase was done in early fall 2020, and I have it in the front of my house and it works amazingly well. Went through a harsh winter, without any problem.. Early this spring I had purchased two other types of motion detector products for my back yard. I spent 60.00$ fir both and I REGRET doing so..None of them can be compared to the Bell+Howell product! The other two products in my backyard aren't efficient at night due to the fact that when we have a full cloudy day without sunlight, their brightness are minimum to none, compared to the Bell+Howell... Bell+Howell IS perfect for me..it works at all times, so much that I just bought a second one from Amazon. It is efficiente, very bright, and seems to resist harsh weather conditions. Worth every penny spent!
